Description
I finally got around to photographing these drawings semi-decently (I had already framed them, and so it was very difficult to take a picture of them without the glass reflections). The photo still isn't the greatest, but I'm at least satisfied that it isn't horrible anymore. As always, it looks far better in real life than this digital copy.
22 x 30, Red Arturo paper. White and black charcoal.
I had wanted to re-draw this ever since my sketchbook paper fiasco of 2008 [link] (don't draw on bad paper). This version was done a little more freely than the pencil version, however, as I wanted it to fit in with the series well. So although it isn't as true to the original photograph, I did it that way on purpose.

I really like the contrasts in the colors, it makes the image pop out really nicely. Also I like the smooth flow of the fabric in the topmost part of the drawing, there's something oddly mesmerizing about it 
But what stands out the most to me is definitely her eye - there's something really haunting about it, as if she's staring at her worst nightmare or something. It's one heck of a drawing, now if you'll excuse me - I'm going back to staring at it some more
